Digital SLR Lenses

Digital SLR Lenses

DSLR Lenses are often one of the first upgrades that a new Digital SLR user will purchase.  Most DSLRs come equipped with a ‘kit lens’, which will usually be good for general applications.  However, when users wish to experiment more with macro or zoom shots, they may wish to investigate the many aftermarket lenses available. Older lenses from non-digital SLR cameras are often interchangeable with modern DSLRs, and some brands are also interchangeable.

DSLR Bags & Cases enable you to transport and carry your Digital SLR in comfort and safety.  Most bags and cases feature protective outer and inner surfaces, to prevent damage to lenses and lcd screens, and come with a multitude of pockets and compartments for all of your accessories.

DSLR Tripods and Mini-tripods are a great way to help you to take long exposure or macro shots, as well as timed self-portraits.

DSLR Memory Cards are essential for photographers who wish to be able to take many shots without having to break to upload their images. Memory comes in a variety of formats, and is available in sizes up to 16GB or more.  Examples of the different formats are CompactFlash, Secure Digital (SD) and Sony Memory Stick - all of these formats are extremely small in size, and easily swapped out of the camera. However, it is important to ensure that you know which format of memory card your DSLR accepts - very few models will accept more than one format.

DSLR Flashguns are another common upgrade, when users are dissatisfied with the integrated flash on their digital SLR.  Most useful for distance shots in low-light conditions.

DSLR Remote Controls come in both wired and wireless varieties.  They enable the photographer to click the shutter from any nearby location.
